Since Mo-Mo had a dental filling in the afternoon, we decided to eat something soft for dinner that evening. Korean tofu pot was the perfect dinner choice for us.
Tofu Cabin is a nearby place with great Korean style steamed dumplings. I first found out about this place a few years ago from my Korean co-worker who took me here for lunch. Ever since, I like to come here every so often.
Although Korean meals seem slightly higher in price compared to the "cheap Chinese" meals, the "kim chi" (appetizers of many small side dishes, usually a variety of soaked vegetables) certainly made up for it!
Meow: Medium spicy mushroom soft tofu pot with purple rice on the side; Mo-Mo: Medium spicy pork soft tofu pot with purple rice on the side. Since Mo-Mo commented that both tofu pots looked the same with either pork or mushroom, I took only one picture as an exhibit of the tofu dinner we ate that night.
I guess it was because it was getting late and the lady was gong to close shop soon, she did not put too much effort in serving us. Normally, she would crack the egg for us into the tofu pot, but this time, she left us alone with the eggs and went away. Hee Hee.
